Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using DigiPlot, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Service Description

DigiPlot provides an AI-powered plot digitization service that converts scientific charts and graphs into machine-readable data formats (CSV, JSON). The service is provided on a credit-based system with free and paid tiers.

3. User Account

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Pricing and Credits

4.1 Free Tier

Free tier users (without an account or with an account but no purchased credits) are limited to 3 plot extractions per day. This limit resets daily at midnight UTC.

4.2 Paid Credit Packages

We offer the following one-time credit purchase packages:

• Starter: $9.99 for 100 credits ($0.10 per credit)
• Plus: $19.99 for 250 credits ($0.08 per credit)
• Pro: $39.99 for 600 credits ($0.07 per credit)

Each plot extraction consumes 1 credit. Credits do not expire and can be used at any time. Authenticated users with remaining credits bypass the daily free tier limit.

4.3 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit cards. By purchasing credits, you agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize us to charge your payment method for the selected package.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Upload malicious content or malware
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures
• Reverse engineer or copy our AI models
• Resell or redistribute our service without permission

6. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our service and immediate credit delivery upon successful payment, all credit purchases are final and non-refundable. However, we may issue refunds at our sole discretion in cases of:

• Technical errors preventing service delivery
• Duplicate charges
• Unauthorized transactions

To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of purchase. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the images you upload. The extracted data generated by our service belongs to you. DigiPlot retains all rights to our software, AI models, and service infrastructure.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

DigiPlot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. The accuracy of extracted data may vary depending on input quality.

9. Limitation of Liability

DigiPlot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, any unused credits will be forfeited without refund, except as required by applicable law.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
