When you purchase credits, payment processing is handled securely by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full credit card information on our servers. We collect and store:

• Transaction records (amount, date, credit package purchased)
• Stripe payment intent IDs (for verification and support)
• Customer email addresses (provided by Stripe)
• Credit balance and usage history

When you upload plot images to our service, we temporarily store:

• Plot images you upload (stored securely in encrypted cloud storage)

3.1 Stripe Payment Processing

3.2 Clerk Authentication

We use Clerk for user authentication and account management. Clerk processes your email address and authentication credentials in accordance with their privacy policy.

• Enforce usage limits (3 plots per day for free users, credit-based for paid users)

5. Data Storage and Retention

5.1 Source Images

Uploaded plot images are stored in secure cloud storage and retained for the duration necessary to provide the service.

5.2 Generated Outputs

Extracted data files (CSV/JSON) are stored temporarily with an automatic expiration of 7 days. After expiration, these files are automatically deleted from our systems.

5.3 Database Records

Metadata about your uploads (timestamps, file names, processing status) is stored in our secure database and retained as long as your account is active.

5.4 Payment and Transaction Records

Transaction records (credit purchases and usage) are retained for accounting, tax compliance, and fraud prevention purposes. These records are kept for at least 7 years as required by law.
